your root is only planted once, do not dig it up. you never know who might sit in your shade, or lean on you weak from their pain. and one day a part of you might grow in your light. that is a part of you that lives on, and though this moment you may want to begin decaying earlier, it may siphon resources from parts of you that you have never met. do not condemn where you grew from, nor the sun which the part of your forbearers reached toward. do not condemn decay either, for a part of you one day will need to see the sun as you do. when your focus narrows, like a root, you begin to lose sight of other beautiful things.
